Comal River

Two and a half miles in length, the Comal River is the shortest river in the world. However, what the Comal lacks in length, it makes up for in fun.

People travel great distances to take a relaxing float down the river. Beginning at Comal Springs, one of the largest springs in Texas, the Comal winds its way through Prince Solms Park, Schlitterbahn and Landa Park, three of New Braunfels' most popular attractions.

The Comal located in the heart of New Braunfels, making it easily accessible to local restaurants, hotels and other attractions. Several companies offer tubing on the Comal River.  River conduct laws are strictly enforced on the Comal River. There are laws against taking glass or foam products on the river, jumping from bridges and littering. To check out other river laws, go to www.nbcham.org/
