Local Hotels in San Antonio
While we don't recommend or endorse any hotel, here's a list of
some better known hotels in the Alamo City.
New Service! Ideal for Families!
CleanHotels.com is a network of lodging facilities that - based on some of the best research available - do not offer in-room, "adult" (pornographic) pay-per-view movies.
Riverwalk
Some well known hotels on the Riverwalk include Hilton
Palacio Del Rio, Hyatt
Regency, Marriott
Rivercenter, La Mansion and
the Westin
River Walk. Still on the river, but away from the big crowds you
will find Holiday
Inn, the Adams
Mark, Homewood Suites
and the Drury
Inn.
Historic Hotels
Historic downtown hotels close to the Alamo but not on the Riverwalk
include the Crockett Hotel, the
Menger, and the Emily
Morgan.
Destination Resorts
Three destination resort hotels include the Hyatt
Hill Country Resort, the Raddison
Hill Country Resort, and the Westin
La Cantera Resort. For families, the Hyatt boasts a "lazy
river" type pool and the La Cantera a collection of connect pools
with slide.
Near the Airport
Close to the airport, you will find the La
Quinta, another Drury
Inn, Fairfield
Inn, the Hilton
and the Embassy
Suites. Located near the Airport, but in an offbeat location,
you'll find a Red
Roof Inn, if you're looking for a less expensive place to sleep near
the Airport.
Budget Conscious
All over town, you'll find La
Quinta, which has a big presence in San Antonio. Budget
chains with a significant presence include InTown
Suites, Motel 6, and Best
Western.
Bed and Breakfast

Antonio Bed & Breakfast Association.
Focus: The Menger Hotel
The Menger Hotel is a National Landmark and one of San Antonio’s
most famous hotels. Located next to the Alamo and near Rivercenter mall,
the hotel houses ornately decorated rooms. However, the hotel’s rooms
