McAllister Park
McAllister Park, located adjacent to the San Antonio International Airport, is 856 acres of recreational opportunity for activities like hiking, biking, fishing, and wildlife observation.
The perfect place for family fellowship, the park is well-suited to those who want to picnic, walk or hike trails or even watch shorebirds during the months of April, May, July and August.
Visitors to the park are encouraged to visit on weekdays to avoid crowds, but the park is open to the public
year round. Leashed pets are permitted in the park, and there is no daily use fee required.
