The Menger
The Menger Hotel is a National Landmark and one of San Anotonio’s most famous hotels. Located next to the Alamo and near Rivercenter mall, the hotel houses ornately decorated rooms. However, the hotel’s rooms are not its main reason for fame; its history includes a myriad of famous visitors.
O. Henry, Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, President Eisenhower, Mae West and others well-known personalities were known to frequent the hotel and the Menger Bar.
