Tower of the Americas

The Tower of Americas, finished in 1968 in honor of the San Antonio World's Fair, is truly a memorable part of San Antonio's downtown skyline. Located in HemisFair Park in downtown San Antonio, the Tower of Americas mixes
atmosphere and dining delicacies to allow visitors to experience a delightful San Antonio "cultural" experience.
Standing 750 feet tall over the San Antonio's bustling River walk, visitors have the opportunity to eat in a revolving dining room (550 feet off the ground) or ride an elevator to a glass-enclosed observation deck.

The observation deck houses telescopes, panoramic photo panels and special interior lighting designed to enhance night viewing of San Antonio's beautiful night skyline. Outside, visitors can walk the entire circumference of the tower. Diners eating dinner at the tower can experience delicacies including shrimp, lobster, steak and filet mingon, all reasonably priced.
